Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"The ramen is amazing. I alwasy get the smokey black and it never disappoints. Love that the egg is soft boiled and so perfectly runny. My only issue is that you only get 2 pieces of meat. However, this place is priced better than compared to most dine in ramen spots, so i get it."
"It’s rare to see effort put on presentation for quick service food but these guys do that really well! The gravy is absolutely flavourful and the ramen was fine. The chilli on top was the cherry on top as it was too spicy! The fried momos were a delight too, though small in size, they were the fried to the perfect crunch and filled decently with meat."
"Midori Ramen is one of my go to spots for ramen! The staff were friendly, service was excellent and the food was delicious! The ramen was very rich, creamy and the meats are so tender! The rice bowl that we got was also delicious, the karaage was juicy and packed with flavour.Would recommend coming here after shopping within the mall!"
"this is the first time having midori from a food court, but the food was definitely just as good! we got the: -red spicy ramen broth was clean and had just enough of a kick from the spice, though we did opt for their mild option since jen can’t handle spice. she survived and enjoyed it -black garlic ramen this is jer’s go to item, which is creamier and stronger on the taste. -taco wasabi octopus was fresh with a good amount of wasabi. Though the container doesn’t look too big, it was a good amount for us to eat. unfortunately we ran out of seaweed before using it all up, so be generous when you make your rolls—more seaweed please! *both ramen came with an egg(ajitsuke tamago), which were cooked perfectly to jen’s liking! their ramen is slightly different than the other places who typically do a pork bone broth(tonkotsu), miso/shio or such, but theirs is made from a chicken soup base! check them out now, their grand opening is june 15th with a bogo on ramen so we already know its going to be busy."
"Decided to grab lunch at the Yorkdale food court on the 2nd floor after a morning mall stroll :) I saw that Midori newly opened and curiously looked at the menu. A gentleman came to me with a coupon for free appetizers when you purchase; I opted in and ordered the Tori Paitan Shoyu ramen and got a free karaage for appetizer! The service was super quick, and I got my food shortly after. The soup base was very creamy and delicious; almost drank the entire thing lol. The free karaage was quite tasty, a bit on the colder side, and comes with a mayo/spicy dipping sauce."
"The food is savory and delicious. We love the Spicy Chicken Karaage Don,Gyudon,Tori Buta Ramen and Takoyaki. Nelson is very helpful in giving recommendations."
"The best food eatery in Toronto. I found (food court value) the best ramen and since was not in rush hour, staff have time to prep my order so well. The noodle quality was almost prefect for me. Price is acceptable in this mall."
"Midori Ramen at Yorkdale is such a treat in the food court! They offer a great weekday special, and I tried the Original Tori Paitan, Takoyaki, Chicken Gyoza, and Black Garlic Chicken Ramen. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. The ramen broth was rich, creamy, comforting, and the appetizers were cooked perfectly. Even though it’s in the food court, the quality of food feels like a full restaurant experience. Definitely one of the best spots for a satisfying meal while shopping at Yorkdale."
